Bun bo hue was good. Service was a little slow.
The food was incredible, the menu was confusing and the service was not great. Plus they charged me extra to get what I ordered in the first place. 😕
Excellent food, prices are more than reasonable though the service sometimes can be a bit frustrating. Except when the owners wait the tables, omg are they efficient. Love the owners, some of their staff is very friendly but one or two is clearly not in a good mood to serve you. Take it for what it is, eat their delicious food and put off with the occasional bad mood waiter and you will love this place.
Excellent Vietnamese food.
I had planned to come here for a quick bite to eat but needed to use the restroom first. I walked in with my infant and asked for the restroom, but they refused to let me use it. Guess I won’t be eating here after all!
Nice lunch plates for fast eats.
Wonderful place with both Vegan and not Vegan menus! I have done both and everything is delicious.
Extensive vegan menu. Not much to look at from the outside but the food is excellent.
Delicious Vietnamese food, especially the vegetarian options. Go for the eggplant.
DO NOT go here. We’ve been here a few times and the food is good.Unfortunately, they are extremely rude. The waitresses completely ignore you. When you walk in no one will help you. We walked up to the counter to ask for a table. There were about 6 open tables. 5 of them were dirty. The guy straight up said they had no tables. They didn’t take our name or anything. Basically told us to go away. This was a few hours before closing.Stay away from this place.
Righteous vegan selection. The vegan sesame beef is as good as the word on the street says it is. Order it today.
Been going here for 19 years. Food is amazing. Service is horrible. But food is awesome.
Debbie was an amazing waitress! As soon as we came in to eat (30 min. before closing) we were welcomed with kindness and a smile! The service was quick, astounding & the food was DELICIOUS. Thank you Debbie!
The people running this place were incredibly nice and now I want to go back here just because it was a nice change. The food was great and we feasted here.
The food here is quite good. Lots of meat and vegetarian options. Service good. Clean. Recomended
They have an entire separate vegetarian menu which is really good. I had the tuna, eggplant hot pot, and I can't remember what else but it was all excellent.
Vietnamese food done right. Great place for Veg options.
Enough food to enjoy, get full and take home to repeat.
Food was amazing and service was good.
Great place, options for every diet.
Four stars for having a whole separate vegetarian menu, which you might have to ask for. Try the spicy noodle soups, the #37 combo vegetarian bun (rice noodles) or the bamboo hot pot on a cold rainy day. Service can be hit or miss and the interior could use an update or even a coat of paint, but the food is delicious and I eat here often.
Yummy food but they forgot to put fork , napkin for delivery, I was outside and I had to eat my food with my hand ☹️
Great mock meat. Large portions.
Really good good, very reasonable price. Very nice staff, helpful and attentive. It's in the regular rotation!
Good, consistent food quality, great price.
Outstanding food the price is reasonable
I loved the food!! Love love love. I do not like hearing folks that work here cough. I don't like hearing workers cough. I definitely don't like when people cough without covering their mouths. My only complaint
Good food. Good prices. The building needs a face lift inside and outside. Nice neaon lighting, but half of it is not working. The sign on a pole outside needs fixing. Wish they could stay open late until midnight at least.
I really liked their vegetarian menu!
Great Vegan options.
The food was very good! We ordered from the vegetarian menu and everything was delicious. We ordered the spring rolls (which you assemble yourself), crunchy noodles, fried rice, and a couple other dishes. The catfish soup was the best. We made a reservation because we had a big party and they were very accommodating, especially because we brought in outside food (birthday cake). The service was great. I would definitely come back to try more.
Some of the best Vietnamese food I had outside of Vietnam so far. Great variety of veggie dishes
Best place for vegan/vegetarian Vietnamese food in the greater Seattle area. Now closed Wednesday's (sadness). Get the fake meat in anything, you won't regret it. Heck, try the whole menu though that'll take some time. Oh did I mention it's cheaper than going to the store to buy food and you get enough for two meals? Delicious! For you meat eaters, they have a regular menu too.
We've consistently had great food here- it's a great combination of flavors. There is a variety-whether you are a vegetarian or meat eater. I really love the eggplant with double mushroom. I go here with my friend and her kids. The chicken pho is perfect for sharing with the kids.
Friendly staff and excellent food, whether vegan or meat. I have been getting the special vegetable pho with tofu and fake meat for many years. I also like the fake meat in the sweet and sour chicken. Enjoy!
There's a massive selection of food to choose from with almost every option being available in vegetarian form. The food is great and comes out in a quick manner. The portions are good and the price point is fairly inexpensive. The only bad part of the restaurant is that it's run in a traditional manner meaning that the service is minimal. I can personally overlook the mediocre service for the great food but maybe others can't.
The food was Fantastic, However the owners need to clean the place up as it is nasty inside and the exterior looks horrible
The food here is really great! They have a menu for dishes with meat and the same menu with vegetarian substitutes, so it's a great place for vegetarians and meat eaters who want to explore a vegetarian diet! My only criticism is that the place could use an aesthetic upgrade. The outside almost looks abandoned.
Amazing.Renovations have been made internally and it looks brand new.Foods amazing and makes you feel good because it comes from a family run business
Good vegan food. Keep it up
A good Vietnamese restaurant with different tasty foods, including vegetarian foods. Reasonable price and good services.
They have one of the best Vegetarian pho I have had. They have a separate menu for vegan and vegetarian options. Easy on the wallet too. Service is very mediocre. If you order customizations, they almost never cater to it.
Our favorite pho restaurant in Seattle! Always our go to. Great prices. They also have a separate vegetarian menu.
This is a local Vietnamese restaurant. The prices are good and the food is as good as it gets. I have not tried everything but so far so good.Restaurant is nice clean and modern looking.
The food is really good, not super expensive really, is in the heart of the CD and is easily located.
The building condition is uninviting, makes food seem underestimated. Surprisingly enough the food was delicious! Perfect sized proportions for an affordable price. Will definitely return and recommend as well. Two thumbs up!
Things To Know Before Going:Always double check your receipt, especially at Moonlight. Depending on who the cashier is, the price will fluctuate. As of December 2019:1. We have been charged automatic 18% group tip for a party of three people2. We have been charged $1.50 per bowl of rice or $4.00 for a container of rice, usually whichever the higher price is3. Do not be surprised to be seated at a table with food or stains, Moonlight's sanitary standards are low4. Do not be surprised if the Moonlight staff is inattentive or even unfriendlyI was still a loyal supporter in the past because they had a decent vegetarian menu but the cashier on duty was especially rude, and I will never be returning again.
This is a favorite local go-to restaurant for vegetarians, vegans, and omnivores alike. The restaurant has two separate menus - one vegetarian and one omnivore. I heard they have two separate cooking areas/kitchens as well in order to prevent food contamination (I think that's brilliant). The items in the vegetarian menu can all be veganized and are wonderfully delicious and satisfying. I have visited here many times and will keep coming back for more moonlight goodness. They have great prices for dinner and even better prices for lunch specials!
The food and service is very good. Very pleasant place
